Recruiting EEA and EU Nationals
EEA and Swiss nationals are free to enter and live in the United Kingdom without the need to apply for permission. These countries are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Irish Republic, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and UK.
Some nationals from these countries will need to register under the 'Worker Registration Scheme'.

As an employer you are required to ensure that you comply with all legislation relating to the prevention of illegal migrant working by checking the documentation of all job applicants.
